I'm Gail. I started building websites in 1999, back when everything was hand-coded and you really had to understand what you were doing. But the part of my background that shapes how I work now came later.

I spent nearly a decade working in individual giving at a charity - putting together direct mail campaigns, email campaigns and donor journeys. That work is fundamentally about understanding why people respond, what makes them trust you, and what makes them take action.

Add a psychology degree to that, and what you get isn't just a web designer. You get someone who understands the behaviour behind the screen - why people leave, why they stay, why they enquire, and why they don't.

That's what I bring to every project. Structure and clarity, yes - but built around how people actually think and behave, not just how a website looks.
