We keep things simple and transparent. These terms explain how Hurd Solutions provides audit and consultancy services in plain English.
Hurd Solutions is a UK-based independent consultancy offering website audits, insights, and digital support for small businesses and charities. All work is carried out by Gail Hurd using a combination of manual review and automated tools.
Audits identify technical, usability, accessibility and strategic opportunities to improve your website. Reports are provided for informational and educational purposes. Unless agreed in writing, audits do not include implementing changes on your website.
We can’t guarantee specific outcomes (such as traffic, sales, donations, enquiries, or search rankings) as results depend on many factors outside our control.
Each Mini Audit includes automated checks and a manual review of your website’s performance, SEO, accessibility and user experience. Reports are typically delivered within 2 working days, though this may extend during busy periods. If extra time is needed, you’ll be notified.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an audit request if the submitted website contains inappropriate, offensive, or unsafe material (including adult, discriminatory or malicious content). If an audit is declined before review begins, any payment received will be refunded in full.
Full Audits and consultancy services involve deeper analysis and tailored recommendations. Reports are typically delivered within 4 working days, though this may extend during busy periods. If extra time is needed, you’ll be notified.
Refunds are available if you cancel before work has started. Once analysis or report preparation has begun, refunds are not typically possible, though we’ll always aim to resolve issues fairly.
Any data shared for audit purposes (such as URLs, analytics screenshots, or access credentials) will be kept confidential and used only to complete your audit. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.
Reports, templates, and tools created by Hurd Solutions remain our intellectual property. You’re welcome to use these materials internally for your own organisation, but they may not be resold or redistributed.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. If you continue to use our services after an update, you are agreeing to the updated terms.
